I've now come back home, and though I'm happy to be in my own things, I miss my family. I've had a good trip, but now I've got to get back to the daily grind.
Before I do that, I wanted to share with you a few picture I took in the little wood behind my parent's house. We grew up in that wood, playing hide and seek, building countless "tree houses" and all around getting in troubles.
After the snow storm of January 1st, I took a walk in that little wood and took pictures, here's some of them:

We started at the barn, Maya (Mom's dog) and I.

There is always high wind on the Island, so you'll notice that there's a lot of snow close to the ground, but as you go up, there's less shelter, so less snow.

I always love to see the little snow cap on top of the fence posts!

Look how much snow piles on thin branches, love it!

Winter wonderland!

Either I've grown, or the path is getting overgrown... or both. It's been years!

C'mon Maya! She doesn't want to come home. See her in the far background. A black/white/grey dog is hard to make out in the snow!
It was my first snow trip in 6 years! It was fun, it was beautiful, see you again in 6 years! ;op
